The House of David Group Chairman Ms Teresa David-Carlos on her Stakeholders’ Message said “In the same breadth and for the past 15 years or so, the House of David, has also made the delivery of basic and tertiary education as its mission. We envision our schools: to be the Center of Academic Excellence and Integral formation in Pampanga, promoting student achievement and competitiveness by fostering educational excellence and equal access no matter what their background or family circumstances and religion. “ She further added “We took this mission further by providing scholarships to various deserving students – to those who are excelling academically, gifted with other creative and special talents but most of all those who simply want to learn but are not financially-equipped to pursue education. I am happy to share with this audience that to date the House of David family already has more than three thousand three hundred (3,300) scholars who have benefitted through this program.” The House of David Group has been offering basic education at Mary the Queen Academy of Pampanga, Inc. (MQAP) since 2000 and tertiary education at Mary the Queen College (Pampanga) Inc. (MQCPI) since 2003. She concluded her speech saying “Through this donation and partnership with DepEd, though a small initiative compared probably to other donors, the House of David family hopes to be able to contribute in narrowing the gap of the number of classrooms that need to be built, bringing education to those who need it most.” Also in the event were BOF Chairman Emeritus Ladislao Sibal David, Honorable Vice Mayor Jimmy T. Lazatin; Honorable Councilor Noel Tulabut; School Division Superintendent, Dr. Imelda P. Macaspac and other DepEd Officers.
