Negosyo Center: Promoting Entrepreneurial Mindset in City of San Fernando

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA, October 28, 2015 – BOF Chairman & President, Ms. Teresa David-Carlos also seating as Pampanga Small and Medium Enterprises Development Council (PSMEDC) Chair since 2007 attended the opening and inauguration of the first Negosyo Center in Pampanga.

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 10644, otherwise known as “Go Negosyo Act”, the Center shall be responsible for promoting “ease of doing business and facilitating access to services for micro, small, medium enterprises (MSMEs) within its jurisdiction.”

On hand to also grace the event were Honorable Congressman Oscar Rodriguez, Honorable Mayor Edwin D. Santiago, City Councilors Nelson Lingat, Harvey Quiwa, Ayzel Macalino and Jacklyn Calimlim, Pampanga Second District Board Member Anthony Torres, Luke Buniel of the Office of Senator Bam Aquino, DTI Region III Director Judith Angeles and Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Jesus S. Nicdao. Representatives from the Core Group of PSMEDC helped organized the event. The PSMEDC thru the Department of Trade and Industry is the coordinating and supervising body for all agencies in the operation of this Negosyo Center.
