Outreach Program: Boosting Brain Power with Good Nutrition

LUBAO, PAMPANGA - BOF, Inc. in cooperation with Supervised Neighborhood Play (SNP) program of the Municipal Social Welfare Department (MSWD) of the Municipality of Lubao, Pampanga, reaches out to eighteen (18) barangays: Baruya, Del Carmen, Balantacan, San Roque Arbol, San Pablo II, San Pablo I, San Jose Gumi, San Francisco, San Miguel, San Vicente, San Antonio, Sta. Catalina, San Nicolas I, Wenceslao, San Roque Dau II, Bancal Sinubli, Bancal Pugad and Sta. Teresita II.

The Supervised Neighborhood Play (SNP) program is a government program among early childhood children (ages two to three) within families, whereby structured play is conducted among neighborhood in the barangay by trained village and church volunteers. The purpose of SNP is to increase access to ECCE services outside of the classroom.

BOF, learning about the community support SNP renders, organized a series of BOF BRAINERGY: Brain + Energy, "Boosting Brain Power with Good Nutrition" campaign with the help of MSWD which started on November 24, 2014.

This is one way of giving back to the community all the loyalty and trust BOF has received throughout its fifty (50) years of service.
